​Dick Deluxe  is noted for his command of a wide range of American music forms, he specializes in solo performances and creating​ a unique platform for each combination of  artists with whom he works.

In recent years , Dick has done hundreds of gigs with the creme of American roots music improvisors..... regular collaborators include Bill Barrett.the world''s premier chromatic harmonica virtuoso, OC guitar legend Danny Ott......Steve Mackay of the Stooges....... Grammy winning percussion whiz Stephen Hodges (Mavis Staples, Tom Waits).... Dr John/Elvin Bishop guitarist Stevie Gurr.....Clubfoot Orchestra composer trombone virtuoso Richard Marriott......session bass whiz Colin Cameron.......Drum master/producer David Raven.......blues phenom Kirk Fletcher,,,,and violin titan Hiro Goto and many more have been "in the Tribe" playing over 1000 songs from Stephen Foster to Randy Newman to original material.

Deluxe is a member of the Clubfoot Orchestra, the former musical director for Jonny Whiteside's Messaround and is the composer/lyricist of the musical ""Gothic South".
